The Problem
You arrive at the border with your e-Visa or travel documents in hand, but the officer tells you that your visa is invalid, or that you have been flagged for a previous violation. Instead of being welcomed into Turkey, you are being escorted back to the boarding gates.
How the Law Works in Turkey
A visa or e-Visa does not guarantee entry into Turkey; it only gives you the right to apply for entry at the border. Under the Law on Foreigners (YUKK), border officers have the final authority to deny entry if they believe your purpose of visit is not touristic, if your passport has less than 6 months of validity, or if you have an active "Restriction Code" (Tahdit Kodu) due to a past overstay.
What the Tourist Should Do
Ask the officer for the specific reason for the rejection. Request a copy of the "Inadmissible Passenger Form" (Kabul Edilemez Yolcu Formu). This form contains the legal code (like V-84 or Ç-114) explaining why you are being sent back. Contact your lawyer immediately from the transit zone before you are put on a return flight.
The Risks
The immediate risk is being deported on the next flight at your own expense. However, the long-term risk is that an airport visa rejection often comes with a multi-year entry ban. If you do not legally challenge this "Tahdit Kodu," you will be unable to return to Turkey for years, even with a new passport or a different visa.
LetFix Solution
An airport visa rejection is an administrative decision that can be overturned. We can analyze your restriction code, file a lawsuit in Ankara to cancel the entry ban, and clear your name so you can return to Turkey legally.
